Sein-Way Tan founded Green World City Organisation with a mission to help make cities worldwide greener and more sustainable. His research on rapid global urbanisation and conversations with over 400 global leaders in politics, business and environment have convinced him the best way to make cities more sustainable and protect the environment is to show Governments and large-scale developers cost-effective solutions and create business opportunities for green companies.

He is also a director of Focus Capital which focuses on Investment Property Consultancy, Property Marketing, Strategic Take-outs and Development Funding.

He is also the founder of the World Property Summit, focusing on working with the Government and the most successful international property industry leaders on providing the best property information and strategies available.

Sein-Way Tan has been invited by the Australian Federal Government to do editorials on Property Investment and Development and to attend the BRW Billionaire Roundtable. He has been invited by the Chinese Government to attend the Boao Asia Forum, World Chinese Entrepreneur Conference and China Real Estate Conference. He has also been invited to APEC, Forbes Global CEO and many other major summits.

Having lived and studied in Myanmar, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia and Japan has given him a wide understanding of different Asian Pacific countries' culture, history, languages, environment and social trends.

His interest includes business, current affairs, history, languages, human culture and evolving trends.

Sein-Way Tan is on the Advisory Board of Global Urban Development, Climate Prosperity Alliance and Data Cities. He is an Advisor to the Chinese Government on creating green cities and is also on the Steering Committee of the UN Habitat (United Nations) World Urban Campaign.
